Letter: Article on suicide was bad form

I have just read your article on the suicide at the Shenendehowa Central Schools campus ("Cops: Shen death is suicide," Jan. 12).

I think it very poor taste to couple the tragic deaths of the two Shenendehowa students with a body found on the campus. To clump this suicide with an event held the previous evening in memory of those kids is unconscionable.

The parents have hardly had time to start the healing process and here they are reading an article that remembers their children and at the same time brings the suicide of an unknown person front and center.
