I agree with Theresa Page and her letter, "Put more women on bank boards," March 6.
In addition, I recommend that the state Legislature, while it resolves other social and financial inequities, amend the banking laws so that bank boards of directors receive compensation for their services in amounts equal to but no more than the established state minimum wage. Further, dividends on shares of bank stock should be no more than the interest rates paid annually to those respective banks' savings depositors.
After all, fair is fair.
