The House and Senate treated the consequences of sequestration as a game of "playing chicken."
Another way of looking at it: No matter how we bleed, "principle" will be upheld with the people as the pawns.
Finally, no matter which side initiated the idea of sequestration, both parties agreed to it. Let's stop wasting time on this point and move forward by making the tough political decisions to get out of this mess that it has put us in.
