Condoleezza Rice made a great speech at the Republican National Convention last week.
She rarely mentioned Gov. Mitt Romney's name and never mentioned President Barack Obama's name. She just went ahead and spelled out what we must do to make America "America" again. It was refreshing to hear that kind of speech at a hall filled with gyrating, celebrating, good-old-fashioned presidential conventioneers.
Republican or Democrat, it's hard not to like the former secretary of state.
I briefly entertained the whimsical thought that Condoleezza Rice was sounding more like a Democrat than a Republican.
