Three precious Cleveland children were abducted, imprisoned and brutalized by a depraved, sub-human sex-offender for 10 years ("Cleveland suspect was 'a monster,'" May 11). And now they are victimized again by swarms of media who camp out of their families' homes.
The media doesn't wait even a day, let alone the protracted period of time needed to allow these people to recover. They are now to become tragic celebrities, appearing before the Oprahs and Dr. Phils and filmmakers who will ravage them further.
They are free from their captor, but captive to the intrusive public need for their daily tabloid fix. Give them space, let them breathe, light a candle.
