The article "Corporate help sought for testing," May 24, should have been on the front page next to "Life is stranger than a fiction book at Aardvark U.," also May 24, about retired University at Albany history professor Lawrence Wittner's satirical novel, "What's Going On at UAardvark?"
The direct connection is what these articles reveal about the effort to corporatize America's education systems. We are left to conclude there's a whole lot of money to be made if we can just get education out of the hands of educators.
