It is time to ask Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver to resign. In addition to resigning, I would recommend that Mr. Silver pay back to the public funds the $103,000 used in the settlement with former Assemblyman Vito Lopez's victims. Mr. Silver has run the Assembly like his own property. The only time he faced any opposition for leadership, the opposition was eliminated from the Assembly.
