With regard to "'Joyous passage' also seeks change," June 2, on Mary Theresa Streck's position relating to women seeking priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church, I felt it was necessary to congratulate her on her courage to speak her opinion.
I personally agree with her that women should be able to become priests in the Roman Catholic Church. I respect anyone's opinion that is different from mine. I have held my belief relating to this topic for some time. It is my hope that this issue continues to be part of future discussions among members of the Roman Catholic Church.
