The Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center, operated on behalf of the city by the Albany County Convention and Visitors Bureau, promotes the many historical attractions that give Albany its unique character.

Historic Cherry Hill is counted among the most important sites, due to its significant and incredibly rare collections accumulated by many generations of the prominent Van Rensselaer family, as well as its 18th-century structure and all its layers of authentic history.

Thanks to the generous contributions received since the Times Union's story, "Mansion may be history," July 21, Cherry Hill can now complete needed house restoration while working toward its last benchmark for its Telling a Bigger Story campaign. Cherry Hill is in need of the community's continued support.

Donations are always greatly appreciated. Online, visit the museum's website at http://www.historiccherryhill.org. Donations can be mailed to Historic Cherry Hill, 523 ½ S. Pearl St., Albany, NY 12202.
