It appears to me the GOP worship of the fetus is not matched by its caring for the human, post-birth.
Consider the following record of the GOP: Funds to feed the hungry as part of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are voted down; extension of unemployment benefits to the long-term unemployed are denied; they still want to rid the country of Obamacare, which already has resulted in 2 million to 3 million people gaining coverage; they continue to support the gun industry, despite some 90 American gun deaths daily; and they continue to deny the scientific connection between emissions and the environment, though we only see greater and greater deaths from unprecedented storms and pollution.
With this record, the GOP "vision" of preserving the fetus until birth is pure hypocrisy. Because it cares little for the human that is born, as evidenced by its voting record on key, painful social problems while continuing to vote for more tax loopholes and to reject any taxing of the rich who continue to aggrandize more and more.
