It has become painfully obvious that Penn State University ("Guilty of sex with boys," June 23) as well as the Catholic Church ("Jury: Priest buried abuse," June 23) have been covering up the abuse of children for a long, long time.
One must wonder what effect this revelation will have on the donors to either the university or the church. Will the alumni and the faithful keep on giving, now that they know their hard-earned dollars have been used to protect child abusers?
