The trend in a number of television "news" channels is to be, in reality, propaganda conduits for special interests.
This may have reached a new high (or low) with election night programming. The most egregious culprit has been, and still is, Fox News, whose claim of "fair and balanced" is the height of disingenuous. We watched with wonder as their talking heads and pundits denied the obvious as all the evidence pointed to the re-election of President Barack Obama. This included its own polling and canvassing results.
The end result was a paradigm reality show. It highlighted Fox's skewed view of America and its erroneous faith in the gullibility of the American people. It seems, however, the people have concluded that, after hearing the proverbial duck talk and observing it walk, this Fox laid a big egg.
