How unfortunate for Albany that the Aqua Ducks are no longer able to operate ("Aqua Ducks to head south," July 6).
I have been a resident of Albany for almost 77 years and am familiar with our city's rich history.
However, when my grandchildren come here for their yearly visit, an Aqua Ducks tour was always high on their list of things to do. The tour guides presented Albany in an informative and entertaining format.
One year they included their parents on the trip and my son-in-law, who is a knowledgeable historian, was impressed with our city's background.
It will be difficult for me to replace the Aqua Ducks tour when they visit this summer.
