The Times Union expose of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's alleged purging of his attorney general archival records is shocking, but not surprising ("A shift in AG paper trail," July 22). Some New York politicians have played rough games in recent years.
Perhaps the governor's political honeymoon is now over, as ruthless ambition seems to have reared its ugly head. It makes me wonder why journalist Fred Dicker is writing his biography. It seems quite premature as Cuomo is nowhere near the acme or the final chapters of his political career. In fact, he's rather in the middle of a sometimes tempestuous, brief political history.
