The answer to the gun problem is not more guns. It's getting semiautomatic guns with high-capacity clips out of the hands of the civilian populace. It would be smart to examine how other countries have solved this problem.
Why reinvent the wheel? We have no monopoly on rational thinking.
Just because someone wants a semiautomatic doesn't mean he or she should have the right to own one. They are far too lethal in the wrong hands. They are meant for the military and the police.
