I just wanted to write and thank Shirley Ann Jackson, president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and all of her colleagues and students for all the charitable work they do in our Capital Region.
Rensselaer is one of the largest contributors to the United Way of the Capital Region. Students and faculty can be found working on countless boards and volunteer projects throughout the area.
As the local United Way's president and CEO, I get to see firsthand that community involvement and service are a major priority to the university, its faculty and students. Dr. Jackson's leadership makes this possible, and we are deeply grateful.
