The GOP's refusal to compromise despite President Barack Obama's efforts show they have no interest in conducting the people's business. Any continued effort by the president and the Democrats will result in fewer Democrats in the House and the Senate. I believe the people should begin an effort to field their own candidates. We can call it the CWP for Class Warfare Party.
The middle class may not have noted that they have been involved in a war with the well-to-do and corporations for the last 20 years and losing the battle. Starting with the 2016 elections and concentrating on the House, we should field candidates who will work to:
Increase taxes on corporations and the wealthy (income more than $500,000); the top 2 percent get 70 percent of the GDP then their tax rate should be at least 50 percent.
close loop holes and subsidies to businesses making a profit; subsidies for business that need help can be given for limited periods.
It is time for the middle class to limit the power of the wealthy and corporations whose wealth is used to influence our representatives — to the detriment of the middle class.
