I couldn't believe the retirement of longtime Albany County investigator, Robert Muller, was mentioned in the same article as the wedding of a convicted criminal and his girlfriend ("The sweet sorrows of two partings," Aug. 30). This honorable man who served the Albany County judicial system for more than 25 years deserved to have his retirement ceremony covered without any mention of the other event. I don't even know who Robert Muller is, but I feel that his retirement was sullied by the article.
