The pro-choice campaign for point 10 in the Women's Equality Act has begun. Suzanne Kelly's commentary on liberating the women's health act includes scholarly rhetoric, attacks on the state Senate and the premise that women will lose all their rights if all 10 points are not passed ("Liberate women's health act," Nov. 8).
In reality, blockage of the nine-point law has had a serious impact on woman's health for the last six months. The abortion of viable infants does not signal an advance in women's health but rather an attack on the "bodily integrity" of a defenseless human being. The pro-choice obsession with extension of abortion does not add to women's health but does violate the sacredness of human life.
Let's work to pass the nine points and truly have a positive impact on women's health.
